*sob* Talia's gone!
Re: Delenn and Sheridan. Death has a funny way of doing that. They had a minor but growing attraction before the Markab plague, but the Markab plague really sealed it.
I know I am a sucker for pretty women crying on my shoulder. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
But more seriously, death really does have a way of bringing you closer. Reminding you that there are things to live for. Reaching out to have someone with you in the darkness. And this was death on a massive scale and for Delenn particularly hard. To comfort that child to then minutes later what that child start to sucumb to the plague must have ripped her up but good.
More on Divided Loyalties when I rewatch the tape.

I was shocked when I talked to Azziz last night that she didn't spend 30 minutes bitching about the lose of Talia (grins)
Divided Loyalties is an interesting episode. One of the things I like about this episode, actually the last bunch of episodes, is watching the relationship between Garibaldi and Sheridan. We all know that Garibaldi is not exactly the most trusting soul and it was going to take time to warm up to Sheridan. Hell his first words to Sheridan were ? don't know you." But now we see that he is comfortable enough with Sheridan to goof off a bit (The silly face, is this a good time to join hands and sing...)
Sheridan has handeled this particular relationship pretty well. I am guessing that alot of new CO's immediatly want to make the staff of their new command change the way they do things. Sheridan didn't do this. He let things continue, including not interferring with Garibaldi, and earned the respect of his staff.
Sheridan and Delenn are getting close. Interesting to watch, they both remind me of love struck teenagers not quite sure what to about what they are feeling. Delenn is adjusting to new human feelings, and you know the chemical composition in her body has been altered so she ahs to deal with the accompanying changes. Sheridan is trying to give himself permission to like a women other then his deceased wife.
Admittidly, the first time through I was reasonably nausiated but I am finding it much less annoying and much more realistic this time around.

I liked Talia's character well enough, but personally I prefer Pat Tallman's Lyta over Andrea Thompson's Talia. I admit when it first happened I wasn't real happy, but I grew to like Lyta much more and next to Delenn she is my favorite character.

Somebody throw some water on me, I just feinted dead away. Crash said something good about Sheridan! LOL!
And I'm with Sindatur. I didn't like Talia much. I liked Lyta better. Felt sorry for Susan, though. What a shame for her.

heheh Merle, it has happened before. Heck there was even a time that I refered to Sinclair as a Chowderhead (Grins) There are a few witnesses who survived the initial shock.

Hey, where's Ery. She's makin' us do all the work. Hasn't turned in her homework but once this month, LOL. Ya still watchin' everyday Ery?
-
Off topic, sorry, but just noticed where Sindatur is "from"! Bud, I bet you feel like it's Hooterville with all those rolling blackouts. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif Feel for you, especially seeing what the heat's been like out there.

Merle, Thanks, but hasn't affected me in the slightest. I'm currently staying in a motel with Airconditioning on 24/7.
TV stations, now that's something I'm stressing over. The most basic of cable, and 99% of it useless. My favorite shows I have access to are game shows (jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Weakest Link). So, I'll take your pity there. I am gonna be back in San Jose for the weekend so I'll have a VCR and a real TV for the weekend, LOL

Hey youze guys. I really haven't been here much, have I? Good excuse though: I rode up to Kamloops last weekend for a Rotary conference, and that's 330 miles each way on a motorcycle. I've missed some eps, including the loss of Talia, and even reading the synopses doesn't make up for missing them!
Gosh, and Monday I will be through with Season 2. What a powerful bunch of eps I've seen this week -- from Confessions and Lamentations to Comes the Inquisitor. There's so much there and so much cookin' IRL, my head is spinning.
But you're all my peeps, I love you, so don't be too hard on my tardy assignments, OK? PC? Sindatur?
Thanks! :-)
